Packhorse bridge below Cnicht, Snowdonia

Beautiful. The misty atmosphere and the colours are stunning.

I agree with Avril. Very cleverly painted, very atmospheric, so tranquil, can almost hear the water running.

there's a lot in this painting, and the longer you look the more you see. Well done for showing two objects that are important to the composition (the bridge and the mountain) without having one compete in any way with the other. Incidentally, not sure what paper this is but I am attracted by its texture, emphasized by your skillful use of granulating colour.

Thankyou everyone for your lovely comments. The paper was either Kardi(indian hand made) or Saunders rough. This is an old drovers road bridge in the wilds of Snowdonia. By having all the colour and detail in the bridge, it pushes back the mountain
