White Rumped Vultures
Basically watercolour although mounted on thin plywood and sealed. This is the latest in my Endangered Species family competition series. This highly environmentally important species was almost wiped out in the 1990s when 99.8% of them died mysteriously in India. The culprit the common nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory commonly known as Voltaren . The drug in vetenary use became much cheaper and much more widely used when it came off patent. Vultures eating animal corpses with NSAD die ofRenal failure.
