Thank you Michael. You must try pebble painting, cheap to make and fun to do. They are always very popular at our local open houses as they are inexpensive but original paintings.

What fun. You have started me wondering what I, in the heart of the country could paint on and of. Clouds on conkers ? Insects on sticks ? Wish I had something like your cuttlefish. Thanks for sharing your ideas.

Thank you Sian and Julie, I must get back to more conventional,painting! I find myself picking up all sorts of bits and pieces off the beach with the intention of turning them into some 'quirky' object! I have quite a collection now but they are nice to give as little presents or save for next years Open Houses.
