Another one that really appeals to me. You may be interested in the work of Arthur Wallis if are not familiar with him. Some of his paintings are displayed in Tate Britain where I spent some happy hours earlier in the week.

Love this one Christine - puffins are so appealing. I am trying to decide if the shells are collaged on - they look so real. Do make this into a card - it is an ideal image for that purpose.

Thank you Michael and Julie. Michael, I can't find any reference to Arthur Wallis and wondered if you meant Alfred Wallis? I saw some of his paintings at Tate, St Ives and loved his naive style. Julie, the sky and sea are collaged torn tissue paper, the rocks and foreground are torn magazine papers the puffins are torn hand painted Khadi papers and found papers and I cut the shell images from a copy of 'Coast' magazine and collaged them on last. I think I will use the image for cards it will make a change from my iPad paintings!

Oops - yes I did mean Alfred - great primitive artist - sorry.

Another cracker Christine! They will make fabulous cards!!

I love your seagull collages as they are so original, fresh and attractive. I love all things nautical, so these drew my eye straight away.

Your puffin series always puts a smile on my face. Another super piece, Christine. It's such a jolly scene and I love the palette.

I am really enjoying experimenting with collage. Tommy Noddies is the name given to the puffins of the Farne Islands. Such colourful quirky birds!
