Hi Christine - I hadn't seen a posting from you for a while, so it is nice to see this delightful little work. The detailing on the butterfly and pheasant is super - a very attractive composition. I have pheasants strutting and posturing in my garden on most days - I love to watch them squeeze themselves onto the bird table under the protective roof - but they do hoover up the seed rather quickly!

Julie, I seem to be suffering from 'artist block' at the moment so it was good be able to produce something on my iPad that I was reasonably happy with. I do envy you your garden it sounds wonderful, the only birds I see here are large, noisy, greedy Herring Gulls!

This reminds me of those very fine silk wall coverings that you get in the 'Chinese room' in stately homes, beautiful colours and your Pheasant is super.
