Wow Christine you are getting better and better! This is a lovely image - very much like a book illustration. I love all the detailing in the clothes and the fan. I have not done much n the iPad over the last few days, but did download the ASketch app as recommended In Jonathan Lawlor's article. It is quite interesting to use - just charcoal, but takes a bit of getting used to. It also took me ages to find any sort of instructions for use - but that could just be me! anyway - really like this image.

You're becoming an iPad painting master, Christine! This is absolutely delightful - great composition, lines, shapes and palette.

Thank you Pat, Petra, Jon, Julie, Seok and Glennis for your lovely comments. Jon, the app I use is 'Brushes' which I find the most rewarding to use as it really suits my style of art. Like Julie I find some of the other apps difficult to use but it's probably just me!
