Hi Christine, I'm very glad you did. This is superb! The kingfisher is naturally endowed with complimentary coloured plumage, so must have been a pleasure to do. Certainly a pleasure to look at. Very well done. And thanks so much for your kind comments on my work. It makes it all worthwhile.

How do you do that??!! You've got no wobbly lines or edges, it's smooth.....nothing like my recent attempts. He's a smashing little fella, bright and fresh!

Thank you Ian and Fiona I'd forgotten how much I enjoyed using Brushes! Fiona, using the iPad you can 'stretch' the screen with your fingers and this makes it possible to enlarge areas and that's how I achieve the detail and clear edges.

Pleased you have brought these back they are so good Christine.

Isn't he just lovely Christine! You are so good with iPad art!! I must try again one day.

Thanks for the tips Christine, I may have to highjack my husbands ipad.

Thank you Carole and Satu for your lovely comments. Fiona do give it a go, it takes a bit of mastering but the possibilities are endless!

I'm glad we're seeing your iPad art again, Christine! I love your fresh, zingy palette and the lovely juxtaposition of shapes and spaces, and this lovely kingfisher typifies everything that's so appealing about your brilliant iPad pieces.

it's a long time since I used the Brushes app on my iPad but the discussions on the Forum and the recent digital art postings on the Gallery have prompted me to use this medium again.
