I am finding that by using the blind one line method, I can draw all sorts of things that I haven't been able to draw before. If you can't draw figures normally, you certainly can doing it this way as this is a charming drawing and the proportions are very good

This challenge is encouraging us to try different subjects isn't it. We must be more relaxed with a 'I can do this' attitude which isn't always there when painting subjects that we're not familiar with and haven't painted many times before. This is why I'm enjoying it so much.

Thea is so right, this method let's us try things that we normally wouldn't dare to approach. I have always wanted to draw people but found it too strict and the results have been disappointing. And now, looking at this cute little girl in her red boots! Not overworked, no fuss, free, fun and expressive. Great work Christine!

My little granddaughter Lily experiencing the first snowfall of the season in Sofia. I usually shy away from drawing figures but this continuous line technique made it much less daunting. Features and watercolour added afterwards.
