This caught my eye straight away Christine! Actually, it was Robert who suggested using just these two colours and like you, I couldn't resist having a try. I was totally surprised at the depth of colour that can be achieved by just using alizarin and viridian. I like this one a lot, well done. It's full of life and isn't it satisfying to produce something quickly like this in just two colours?

Wow - brilliant attempt at this difficult task. I can see the bar is being set very high, so I am going to have to try very hard if I am to have a go.

Like he almost abstract quality of this - looks simple but simple it ain't

Thank you Louise, Thea and Michael, I am way out of my comfort zone here but really enjoyed the experiment. I am inspired by your newest posting to have another go Louise but it will have to be put on hold for a day or two as other things get in the way!

Wow, Christine. I agree with the above comments 100%!

Well done Christine! Not an easy challenge at all but you have risen to it! I like it a lot, it's free but well thought and inspiring.

Darn it! I keep forgetting this idea and did mean to have a go. Might try but busy busy busy. This is good and don't be downhearted

Thank you Mia, Satu and Derek for your encouraging comments, I am enjoying using my watercolours again!

I like this Christine, well done .

I haven't used my watercolours for a long time now, as you can probably see! But, inspired by Louise's quick loose style paintings decided to give it a go using Alizirin and Veridian. I think a lot more practise is needed!
