Didn't realise this was a collage... Then I read your description. Just works so well. Those window cills need a like of paint.

Thank you Sylvia, I find collage so interesting, I can't look in a magazine without seeing something that I could use. The worn paintwork was from a home style magazine with a picture of a distressed wooden panelled door!

Wow Christine! Collage is really your thing - this is lovely and, like Sylvia, when I first glanced at the the gallery I thought it was a painting, I love the simplicity of your designs and the punchy colours.

Could have sworn I left a comment yesterday!,,,oh well! Anyway, just wanted to say that I like this a lot. Especially with the mixed media approach. I also like your white frames which you got at a bargain price. The ones I buy around that size are about £12, so very well done!

An absolutely gorgeous piece, Christine! You've captured the textures and the tonal work perfectly, something I've discovered is so very difficult to do with collage. Your pieces are getting better and better. Well done!
