I always like your collages Christine. This is particularly effective because of the strong composition. Love their spotty wings and their eyes. They have character, ready to attack!

Thank you Louise and Dennis. Yes ii is a collage Dennis, the background is torn tissue paper and for the gulls I used script and found printed papers.

I do love your collages Christine and this is a wonderful example of them. I was in Worthing last Sunday and there is a beach hut selling local art, cards and all kinds of little things. Lovely seagulls amongst them! I asked the owner if he knows you and told him about your collages. Go and see him, Thomas Freer and have a chat. From the Pier go to the right and his hut next to the Artists Cafe or very near.

Lovely image Christine, and I think Satu is right - you should go and speak to the man at the beach hut. I am sure you would sell your work easily. It is always very appealing.

I will definitely make a point of calling in and talking to him but I am pretty hopeless at selling myself! Next time you're in Worthing let me know, it would be nice to meet up for a coffee!

Torn Paper Collage - I see a lot of these Herring Gulls here in Worthing, beautiful birds but they can be quite intimidating! My husband is very wary of them as he has been attacked a few times on his morning run!
