Great title for a really good painting Willie and I love that tree and the dappled shade

Great painting Willie.

Live the title and the wonderful shadows and shards of light

Very good colouring and shadows Willie.

This is beautiful Willie, I love the colours and the carpet of leaves under the tree.

This is a beauty.

I recognise the Harbour gallery Willie! The light and shadows under, and on the tree trunk are beautifully painted. Lovely journey…..

Lovely splash of red. Great painting Willie.

A lovely rendition of the place and the red coated figure adds interest to this charming scene Willie.

Kirkcudbright; on a cloudy windy day and freezing cold from sketching I darted in the direction of the nearest cafe when the sun suddenly appeared. I took a quick snap over my shoulder of the Art Gallery and then forgot about it. I found the picture some months later and saw that there was a red coated figure in it. I had to give it a go! Oil 20"x16
