an eye catcher , Willie , like the composition and use of light sunlit areas to carry the eye through and around the painting. The balance of dark and light also works well. as does the tonal values.

A great painting Willie and an absolutely accurate representation.

Super painting, Willie. Love the water.

I can't better Mike's comment, fully agree with it, lovely work.

Yes Mike has put it so well, really striking work Willie.

Quite dramatic with your bold use of blue Willie, I like to see strong colour and this is superb.

Love the bold colours and strong contrasts Willie.

Good angle and well caught composition, brings back memories - though I don't recall the Weir being quite so blue when I used to row from the boathouse underneath Dunelm House, bu that was a long time ago.

Stunning painting Willie, beautiful blues.

Super structure and perspective Willie

Thanks for your comments Mike, Michael, Seth and Sandra. I considered a light cerulean for the sky Alan but the buildings would have died! Thanks Stephen, Barry and Carole for your remarks -appreciated. OK Tony, the Wear is rarely blue but I thought I'd cheer it up a bit.

Thanks John appreciate your view as always.

Beautiful Perspective, it gives Tension an Livelyhood to this potetial cool and sinthetic Architecture.
