There’s something special about gardens – even magical. It may be a large and elaborate formal garden, a tiny patch of ground in a backyard, even those carefully chosen plants that inhabit the precious space of a balcony high above a thronging street. All gardens in one way or another are transformational – they carry you to a different place – a peaceful place, a tranquil place.
