Really nice sketch Pete, good mark making and shading giving depth and form to the ruin, I also like the back drop of the indistinct trees really effective, nice one.

One of my favourite places to walk to from home. Have intended to draw this for ages but hesitated as it is quite a complicated subject. Was tempted to use a grid but settled with drawing it freehand on A3 paper.
