Just gorgeous beautiful colours...what materials do you use...it reminds me of a cave with stalagmites and stalactites

Sorry Patsy. I should have said in the comments. It's oil. I add Liquin to the oil paint but I don't mix it. I just put pure colour and a blob of Liquin on a smooth surface so it drags the paint out when you brush it or use a knife or whatever. The colour mixing looks after itself as the liquin and the different areas of thick oil colour get pushed into each other. It relies on the 'happy' accident and you cannot work it for very long or it all goes muddy. Great fun.

Hi Christopher have just found you on the left of the front page...this is the only one of your paintings that I've seen...I'm so glad I've had a chance to wander through your gallery...the images you make are fascinating...I love the description of how you work and that you have fun...I think most of your accidents are happy

Hi Christopher...Had the time to stroll through your gallery today...interesting, colourful [reminds me of encaustic work too]...I can see how you get absorbed into these works too.

Paint dragged with a steel rule and brush work. I try to clear my mind when painting like this but this one seems to have provoked a coastal influence.
