Yes, a good lesson there: I really dislike excessively watery watercolour. This is a fine portrait of an impressive animal, and I'm wondering how you achieved the fine lines in his hair - some scratching-out I can see ... is it all achieved that way, or did you use a little white? On very fine brushes or nibs if you did...
