Raining in Bristol by Warren Sealey

Super. Lovely and gritty piece of storytelling through art

Lovely painting.

Lovely busy scene.

A stand out piece, very good.

This one grabbed my attention. Love the everyday scene and the way you’ve captured it.

A charming painting, Warren - my husband and I have been trying to work out which area of Bristol this is... is it Ashley Down? Although the houses on the left are very typical of Redland... you've captured a wet Bristol day very well.

Thank you very much everyone for your kind comments again. Jan you and your husband are very close, it's actually Fairlawn Road in Montpelier and the building on the right is Fairlawn primary school.

You have caught the atmosphere perfectly in this painting Warren.

Such an atmospheric, beautifully executed painting Warren.

Ah, Montpelier, of course! Great area - such a colourful, vibrant area... we love the bohemian vibe of Montpelier...

Back in the day, we used to love the food from Herbert's Bakery and the One Stop Thali Cafe in Montpelier - they've probably both gone now...

Oh! this scene is fantastic and captured so well, a drizzle day in Bristol with the cars parked , Combi van and cyclist all out on the wet road, very eye-catching indeed!

What can I say, I love rainy scenes, here's another. Its a street in Bristol, not far from where I live, on an extremely wet day, which I love.
