On the thumbnail I could see it was a church interior straight away. On opening it up I got the abstract impressionism you mentioned. Viewed large I'm not getting the whole pic on my screen, so I have to scroll. Two pics in one! Very lively and interesting, Jim.

Cheers Lew. In reality the painting is better than it appears on screen. I'm happy enough with it and I wouldn't be if it wasn't okay. I can be my own worst critic at times ( can't we all?) I'm decidedly new to both acrylics and abstracts. My daughter never paints acrylics on anything but canvas, but this is acrylic paper.

Like it Jim, the stained glass windows full of colours and the bright sunlit alter.
