I would of course, want to live in Jane Austen's upper middle-class Regency era, where everybody had plenty money (well, most folk), spent their time shopping, drinking and dining, dashing about in luxury carriages and going to balls and things. A bit like life in Wilmslow/Alderly Edge in Chesire today of today, where all the footballers live except that folk back then had a few more manners and they could all dance and speak French and stuff. ..(-:
