Mrs Mangle....

Ah, nostalgia...I remember these when I was a nipper, along with the old tin bath hanging on the shed door, these things are amongst my earliest memories.

My mother used to call them "the squeezers" Lew. (-:

My dad caught his middle finger in one when his mam was mangling. His finger was actually quite flat at the end. Good piece Jim.

Michael my brother told my sister to put her finger in the mangle then turned the handle taking the top off her three year old finger... a brilliant drawing and memory Jim. You can tell the golden oldies we all home on on these.
