You don't mind a bit of hard work, do you? You've suggested a multitude very successfully without filling the canvas(es) with distracting detail.

Thanks Lewis, Linda, Dennis and Robert for the positive comments. I've tried (as ever) to suggest an atmosphere rather than just paint a picture. That atmosphere, Robert, was a wonderful part of our lives back then, noisy, happy and with great music and dance. Well worthy of remembering any way we can. Gee, I wish I could do it all again..(-:
