It's been great looking at these pics, Jim. I've had some of my best times listening to jazz bands.

Thanks Lewis and Carole. I've always been a dance fan and was really into rock and roll early on. Music was a real mix back then and some of the earliest jazz recodings I can remember dancing to were Chris Barber's "Tight like that" and "Whistling Rufus". Bill Haley didn't invent rock and roll. Jazz was in there long before him. (-: ps, one of the most touching and beautiful recordings ever from way back, was Muggsy Spaniers jazz band playing the traditional New Orleons funeral style "Just a closer walk with thee"... Dazzling....

Great set of paintings put together just right!

Fiona, I did the collage in Windows Paint. I saved the images to "My Pictures", reduced them with the "Edit Picture" feature to "e-mail size", then went to "Paint" and brought them over using the "Edit, then "Paste from " which lets you select from your images in "My Pictures" one at a time. You can move them around till you have the amount you need, add text if required then save them as one image in My Pictures again. You'll probably have to crop the white edges off with the "edit picture" facility, but you'll get the finished product that way. Hope this makes sense....
