Excellent, Jim. You've caught the strength and intelligence of the breed. Brian

He will love you Jim! A great rendition and I like the 'in your face' face :)

Lovely, Jim. He sounds much like my boy, Jack.

Love this Jim. His eyes ARE gentle.

Stunning dog portrait Jim. I think this dog is very lucky to have a good neighbour who strokes him and gives him treats.

Thanks all (obviously dog lovers (-:). Painting lets you show characteristics as you yourself see them in ways that Photograph/ formal portrait, can't always do. That's what I've tried to do here. He's a real-life fella and I really took to him from the start.

He’s lovely, Jim.

What a cracking painting of this beauty Jim, I love dogs too😃

I really like this piece, Jim. Fabulous loose brushwork and so full of personality. It's superb.
