Oh, very nice to see your mother Jim! Maybe others will follow and paint their mothers/fathers so we'll have a full family album in the gallery. She looks very stylish. I love the hairdo!

Thanks Ibolya. She was an unpretntious mill girl and proud of it. Sadly, she outlived my dad by some 20 years because, despite his Irish heritage he was a regular soldier in the British Army for 13 years, who never recovered his health after the war. He was at Dunkirk. R.I.P both of them.

Thank you for the insight into your family's life Jim, it's an interesting read. Sorry to hear about her loosing your dad. I admire those who fight for others' liberty and protection. It takes special people to do that. I hope they're resting in peace and happy in heaven.
