Slim pickings for sparrows...

Love this one Jim , they were everywhere when you and I were young Jim . I miss them they are beautiful and this is beautiful too . Have you seen Carolyn Anderson paint small birds if not it's worth a look she does them very loose but great.

Aww bless them this is so lovely Jim. I saw fieldfare On the Holly yesterday looking for berries but the thrush and blackbirds had beaten them to it!

Thanks all for the comments. Years ago, in Spain, I was horrified to find roast sparrow on a tapas menu in a cafe. Not one I'd ever be using again.
