Congrats on making the selection for August, Jim. We received our TV signals from Winter Hill when I lived in Lancs. I like your work, it is filled with vigour and enthusiasm....never boring!

Thanks all for the good comments, and yes Stephen, Bolton born and bred I am, a Halliwell lad. Apart from two years in Todmorden I've always been here, Bolton, Westhoughton and Farnworth where I now live.

..Winter Hill that is and the T.V mast which is easily seen from where I live. Took a load of mental memories of clouds and sky, then came back and painted this. Watercolour only on paper.
