I saw Van Gogh's work in Amsterdam and yes you are right Jim, he was a genius. It's a shame that artists are so little appreciated while alive, then when they die all the dogs turn up to cash in. And yes, keep the ears or you'll need a rubber band to hold your sunglasses in place! Really nice result Jim! Your flowers are very attractive.

Thanks all for the kind comments. Adele, nice compliment but I.M.O no one was better than Vincent at what he did, ie his own particular world. I know where I'm at; an enthusiastic amateur who paints purely for pleasure and the love of it. Long may it stay that way..(-: .
