What a cutie, I bet he found every puddle on the way home, just so he could get some lovely towelling to get him dry. that what my cat does, gets soaked ,then jumps onto the table so I can rubbed him dry. I love this painting well done Jim.

Alfie says thanks to you all. He's a people's dog, you see. We have three schools all on his walk area and he gets a lot of fuss and attention. He isn't a ribbons and bows type of dog,, more resembling a pile of dirty washing, but everybody loves him and boy, doesn't he know it. (-:

Some dogs are less inclined to like rain than others, but that goes for children too. We went on our usual walk in heavy drizzle. It was proclaimed "We'll just wear out wellies." Can't argue with that.

My dad was Irish Gudrun. On a visit there as kids we looked and listened in disbelief as he and the local Parish Priest described the downpour as "a fine soft morning". Noah built an arc for less rain than that....(-:
