It's a cracker Jim great colour

Beautiful abstract, Jim.

I don't understand abstracts Jim, they don't 'do' anything for me but for your first one I think you have done well, you have some cracking colours there and I'm sure the abstract artists will give you better feedback. Well done anyway.

Since it's a first, maybe some explanation on the thinking. The coulours are numerous but not over defined to signify Bolton is a very multicultural town, No real darks either because industry has died here in favour of offices, commerce and education. Some hint of a church and town hall and some rural areas. Whole thing in a green frame because Bolton is surrounded by green rural sweeps. Hope it makes sense but that was the theory.

I could see it In a modern setting

I don't understand abstracts but after reading your explanation, Jim, I can see the church and high rise offices. I like the vivid colours, for a first, well done.

Great explanation Jim, now I understand a bit more. I wish other 'abstracters' would explain as well as that.
