..wanted to paint this as a memory, a bit indistict, a bit faded, yet retained. I left the faces unclear on purpose as it isn't a portrait and I didn't want to caricature them. Mother and father passed on a long time ago, but my brother and I hang on. The original picture was taken by a pier "snapper" and is actually quite good.
