Thanks Carole, Dermot,Dennis,Sylvia and Marjorie for the nice comments. Sylvia, the items were all postcard size and er, posted to Manchester originally where the winning ? ( can't remember how many) would be exhibited. No idea where they ended up or what happened after that.

I actually meant the original painting by Lowry , it used to hang in Rochdale A G it is a painting that has stayed in my head since I was 16... long , long time .it is a self portrait and in my opinion one o f the best things he ever did.

Ah, can't help on that one Sylvia, I just worked roughly around an image from the internet, Lowry as a young man. I did another when he was much older. I'll see if I still have it....

I've just looked on their web site it dosent seem to be there . Probably in the "Lowry" in Salford. ....
