The trouble is, Jim, they they DO know what they do: and don't care. When cruelty is carried out in the name of the Bible, the Quran, the Talmud and Torah, it desecrates their holy books. If they'd ever realize that - and stop - the world might move forward. You can't claim to be Christian, Muslim, or Jew if you embrace rape as a form of warfare, bomb little children to "shards of bone", as a writer agonizingly accurately expressed it in the Guardian the other day, use hospitals as shelters for your military command posts, or shell them as if that provided you with the excuse. It perverts religious faith - I don't believe those who claim to be religious, and can yet do this. Thank you for this message.
