Thank you all for the kind comments. I really admire the great artists, but I want to see their work in churches and museums and I'm drawn more and more to the simple. Even if I could achieve it, not everyone wants "The Death of Marat" hovering over their eggs and bacon in the dining room. or "The Scream" terrifying the grandkids (-:

Beautifully simple with harmonious colour Jim.

This is a lovely piece, Jim, with tons of atmosphere. It is very reminiscent of the early paintings produced in the colonies in the early and mid 19th century. Beautiful work.
