Not sure why "Piping down the valleys wild..." By William Blake was in my head today. We learned it in junior school, and that's a long time ago. My sketch is from a painting I looked up as suitable. Just a line and weak wash. Nice memory...Walter de la Mere's "The Listeners" comes to mind now....
