Not being a plein aire disciple very often, I was delighted to see how the Forest Flame bushes in our garden had blossomed almost overnight. I didn't grab a pad and brush, just had a good look, then went away and did a small mixed-media version of what I thought I'd seen, what my mind recorded. This is my idea of impressionism with Easter just a week away and isolation the rule. I wasn't too displeased with the result, though photographic Forest Flame it isn't. Just a spot of light in the dark....
