Any sketch/painting of the Virgin Mary, even the classic masterpieces in museums, the Vatican etc,, are just products of the artist's personal imagination as no image of her ever existed, thus with this work of mine. A 13 x 10 weakened mixed media sketch on sand coloured paper part inspired by Lachlan Goudie's excellent painting trip to Jerusalem.
