Still not up to painting very much right now, so, For re-reading (after many times) Sir Walter Scott's "Young Lochinvar" (originally a popular poem from "Marmion") and digging out this related work from files. It's a personal favourite ( and my original illustration of the poem) and just appealed to do it. Forgive if you will. Just the mood I'm in.
