Oh, wow, I love this. The style, the colours... Beautiful.

Jim Why the red and yellow dots?? D

Your Chinese influence is coming out in this lovely image Jim.

Jim you have kindly commented on my work which tends towards there Impressionism style whereas your abstract are so interesting was they've remind me of project I had to do on Kandisky when studying for a Diploma in Art History. The circles remind me of his later works when he was exploring such shapes. And of course colour. Yellow for fear and red for danger. But your yellow circle could be the sun. The grid on the right hand side ? the Cross. I see three verticals balanced by three horizontals. Straight lines so equal forces on each side. All at rest. Kandinsky saw green as indicating envy. Your works merit. a lot of study and of course each viewer interpretates abstracts in their own way. .

Thanks everyone for the comments. The red circle is just something I use to identify a particular photograph after taking several. Means nothing in the painting. Alan's observations are correct. The title, Easter Sunday makes the other dots significant. The Yellow circles is the risen sun as in the Resurection. On the left is Jerusalem and the red dot is to signify a building. In the Catholic religion the red light in churches is always lit except in the period from Good Friday till Easter Sunday when it is re-lit to again signify the Resurection and presence of God back in his church. The Three empty crosses on the right signify the same. Hope this isn't boring.
