Thanks Lewis and Rachel for the comments. Dean Martin was very much of my time and his record "Standing on the corner watching all the girls go by" was apparently a realistic social comment on Italian cities. Ah, I so loved Dean Martin's music and "Inamorata" was a big favourite. (-:

I did a black and white painting of the same photo some years ago, if I remember it was a street in Florence. I didn't know who the photographer was , now I know . Thanks Jim.
