Recognised it Jim, loving your charcoal series! I just love charcoal, too! Was there some conte crayon in there or coloured charcoal? Really excellent portrait and just as I imagine Miss Fairfax!!!

Thanks Sandra and Thalia. The pack I bought was charcoal pencils, but had a stick of black and one of brown also. Not sure if I'll use the brown much, but we'll see. (-:
