Interesting collection Jim. Will always bring back memories. Some daft neighbours decided to burn garden rubbish the other day , both old enough to know better. Another neighbour physically put it out. They were a bit miffed . As you say fools. I must have walked this area as a teenager...did teenagers exist all those years ago ? . I did a lot of hiking with a youth club. I remember Rivington Pike . But my area was more Knowl Hill and Ashworth Valley.

.probably only of real interest to those who know the area, but these are the lovely Moors that people with thier heads on back to front set fire to. Barrow Bridge Village and the famous 63 steps are fortunately on the fringes and safe from harm. Pity the wildlife, nature and farmers livelihoods that suffer because of fools.
