Well done Jim. It is a beautiful sculpture. We are lucky to have it in Basingstoke. Sad that all the information on it is inside the museum and not on the base of the statue.

in basingstoke. Soft pencil sketch to check proportions look okay (I never measure these things) . Not quite sure where I'm going with this yet, but it'll keep me quiet for a while..(-: I'm pretty safe on appearance as there is no photographinc evidence of what Jane actually looked like.
