Great movement can almost hear the music.

2000? The oldest you've kept? Is it dry yet, Jim? Lovely sinuous line, perfectly capturing the dance. If this is your oldest, you must be guilty of dumping good stuff.

Thanks Carole, Lewis and Ibolya. I had many years away from the art Lewis, children, family, work etc, (one of my jobs involved design of steel shipping containers) and I painted little and saved less. Only really came back into art when I finally retired (at 70). Having a lot of fun now though, although I still tear a few up for the recycle bin. (-:

..taking of Granada and flamenco with Steve Smith made me dig this out of the archives. Done back in 2000 and by far the oldest picture I've ever kept. 12 x 9 inches in waercolour.
