Yes, I thought Les Mis, but not having seen it the name meant nothing to me. I'm familiar with the poster. But what we have here is a stylish painting of a young girl. Great.

Thanks all so much for the positive comments. I wanted to de-Hollywoodise (is there such a word? ) the character a little while still leving her recognisable. I always try to think character rather then film star.
