Glad you have immortalised her in your painting Jim. Trigger happy so and so’s, choose the easy solution and say it was done for the safety of the public.......

You know, I am so bloody furious about this - not about your painting, which I hope will be a memorial to this cat, but about the total, staggering stupidity of Ceredigion Council, which has managed to drag the reputation of local government right down into the gutter. Threat to the public? Do these fools not realize that this was a European lynx, an animal which was once native to this country, and no danger at all to the public provided you don't go and push your face at it ....? No, they don't; if there are any bullets going spare in Ceredigion, I know where they should be aimed. Just don't aim for the head - there's nothing but wind inside it.

Such a stupid thing to do, the poor animal. I really don't understand the human race sometimes. Jim this is a lovely tribute to a beautiful animal.

Lovely tribute to this poor cat. Why on earth couldn't she have been tranquillized and returned to her zoo. I so thoroughly endorse Robert's comments here, would agree about where to aim the bullets!

Lovely tribute to such a wonderful creature who was intelligent enough to know that there was life beyond the concrete walls.
