You've been on a bit of a Jane Austen jag - books,films, or both? They abound with characters who do indeed invite you to draw and paint them.

Good pic, but I believe Sean Bean played Lady Chatterley's Gardener. You know the actor, who also played Sharpe, and Tracy!

Bit confused here Linda. My pic is of Ben Whitrow who played Mr Bennet in the BBC version of Pride and Prejudice. I know Sean Bean (and quite a few others played Lady Chatterly's lover on film...but Mr Bennet was referring to the book he was reading in my pic....Sorry if I confused you....?
