A lovely piece Jim especially like the ladies

Nicely painted Jim you are certainly a dab hand on the dance floor.

Thanks Gudrun, Dennis, Carole, Marjorie and David. I adore dance, David, always have and was even an extra in a T.V show just a year ago. Old fogies bopping at the Palais and, get this, the Macron Stadium at half time in Bolton v Sheffield football match. On and off I've danced all my life and still love it. Strike up the band....(-:

Love the humour here.

I love dance too as well as painting. Very well rendered Jim. But this happens to remind me of a TV programme that I watched yesterday on Iplayer, from the series "Being Human. It is a comedy about a ghosts, vampires and werewolves. The dapper vampire, who is very polite and proper, goes to see his favourite lady ghost, who he thinks keeps him on the straight and narrow (abstain from drinking blood). The characters look a lot like the ones you have portrayed. But she is secretly a foul-mouthed, porn loving raver and just keeps up her delicate image for her annual visit from the vampire. Chickens also feature heavily in the series as the werewolves prepare for the full moon, by taking a change of clothes and a dead chicken on a string into the woods, ready for the transformation.

Thanks everybody for sharing your views and appreciation. I may just use a couple more period items combined with dance (and a little humour of course) (-:
