A complex scene well handled. How towns have changed over the centuries, the old builders really built beautiful buildings which have stood the test of time.

...at the rear is Bolton Parish Church (St Peter's) and in fron of it the memorial cross where James Stanley, 7th Earl of Derby was beheaded in 1651.
