every one of your paitnings is a cracker

Again, an evocative painting, colour subtle and restrained but not weak or tentative.

A beautifully executed painting. The colours and drawing are great.

Yep, I agree. Your colour harmonies are really great and have a pleasing, unifying effect

Hi Carole, Susan, Alan and Robert - very many thanks for your kind comments - the person who commissioned the painting has still to decide what version they want, but has bought 3 giclee prints of each, so I am happy with the outcome.

Both Market Streets are exquisite. The restrained Prussian (Windsor?) blues are brilliantly effective. What kind of prints do you make of these?

Hi "keeping art" and Kim - many thanks for your supportive comments Kim -the blues I use most often are Fr Ult and cerulean blue - the prints are professional giclee prints and are produced at about 50% of the size of the original so they are ~200mm in rough dimension - they are limited edition prints (250 limit). I have a website www.walterwatsonart.com where I sell prints although I haven't yet upgraded the site to include these Market Street prints. There is a contact e-mail on the website if you are interested - there should be a contact form there but I am having trouble updating the site following the crash of my home PC. Happy painting Walter
